Making a Difference

Here at DP Medical, we’re committed to creating meaningful social value and having a positive impact on the people, communities and environments we work within.

From fundraising challenges to volunteering, sponsorships and product donations, our team has been dedicated to supporting causes across the UK and Ireland, giving back to others since we were founded more than 30 years ago.

We’re also proud holders of both ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and 14001 (Environmental Management System), ensuring we are creating the right conditions to foster trust, ethical leadership and environmental responsibility in everything we do.

Product donations

As a trusted supplier of groundbreaking medical innovations across the ENT, dental, gynaecology and surgical sectors, we’re passionate about passing on the often life-changing benefits of these products to those in need.

In recent years this has included the donation of pioneering new technology to enable pupils at Holy Family School for the Deaf in Dublin to experience music like never before and supporting the ‘Legacy of Hope’ charity mission to Rwanda, where our ENT equipment helped the team deliver the best possible care and treatment for patients in the country.

Volunteering

Giving our time to support charities and the communities we work in is something close to our hearts at DP Medical. Every member of our team is encouraged to volunteer, with a combined total of more than 40 days’ allocated to doing so throughout the year.

Fundraising

We love a challenge at DP Medical and if it means raising vital funds for important causes at the same time, all the better.

Over the years our team have embarked on everything from mountain hikes in aid of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital to a triathlon to raise money for the Schinzel-Giedion Syndrome Foundation and, recently, our managing director Owen Pemberton completed the Berlin Marathon, raising more than £2,600 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

Sponsorships

Putting our name behind an event, award or initiative that aligns with our company values is something we’re proud to do. A great example of this is our support for the Rowena Ryan Awards -  which celebrate the life of Rowena Ryan, a young consultant ENT surgeon at Northwick Park London who passed away from pancreatic cancer in her early 40s.
