The Trachealator is a non-occlusive airway dilation balloon, the innovative construction features eight small outer balloons which expand at a high pressure rating to treat airway stenosis.
This open channel of the design can be used for continuous ventilation during its inflation. The balloon is semi compliant and folds easily for extraction, as well as having markers for radiographic positioning.
With balloon diameters ranging from 6mm – 18mm, the Trachealator can be used on both adults and children for treating airway stenosis. They all have a working length of 650mm and an RBP of 12 atm with guidewire included on all units.’
