New appointment strengthens team in Ireland

DP Medical has added an important new addition to its growing team in Ireland.

Ciarán Cassidy joins the company as a category sales specialist focusing on forensics, gynecology and orthopedics.

With a degree in Applied Health Science and a Diploma in Physical Therapy, Ciarán initially followed his passion and raced bikes until he was 21 years old. The dream wasn’t to be, so he then worked in high-end bike shops before going into further education which led him into sales roles after leaving university.

Ciarán said: “I am really pleased to have joined the DP Medical at a really exciting time for the company as we look to expand and grow our presence in the Irish market. So far, no two days have been the same and I have really enjoyed getting out on the road and meeting lots of interesting people around the country, offering products to them that make a positive difference to their work.

“A typical day involves calling to both existing and new customers, understanding their needs and sourcing the right product for them to deliver the service they provide. Additionally, I help our customers with ongoing training and support when needed.

“It’s clear that DP Medical stands out from the crowd as we go above and beyond to provide first class support and service. We’re always on hand to make sure our customers are happy with their product and efficiently resolve any issues if they arise. It’s been a great experience so far.”
