Ruth Shrimpton, currently interim (joint) clinical lead acute Speech & Language Therapy team (lead critical care) at St Bartholomew's Hospital which is part of Bart's Health NHS Trust, was picked at random after placing an order with DP Medical and submitting feedback via our monthly customer survey.
Ruth said: “It was a fantastic surprise to have won the Fitbit. I have some long bike rides for charity coming up so plan to use it to help me prepare!
“The survey was really easy to complete and I’m glad I did. We have found DP Medical quick to respond and extremely helpful when there have been problems with our FEES stack or scope. They have enabled us to keep our FEES service going in a large ITU which is essential in providing an effective dysphagic service. It's great working with them.”
Owen Pemberton, commercial director at DP Medical, said: “We always really appreciate it when our customers take the time to feedback to us where we have done well and where we can make improvements. It’s really important to us to know this information so we can ensure we continue to deliver excellence across all areas of our business, from product supply and development to servicing visits.
“I was really pleased to present Ruth with her prize. It is very well deserved and we wish her all the best for her upcoming charity cycling endeavours!”
