DP Medical welcomes new sales manager

Cheryl-Lynn Smith, who is originally from South Africa but has been in the UK for the last 22 years, has joined the firm as Southern Gynae Area Manager.

Starting her career in the hospitality industry, Cheryl-Lynn then worked in a general office before moving into sales. She now has 15 years’ experience in the field having worked in various industries ranging from convenience to grocery, into pharmaceuticals and now medical.

Cheryl-Lynn said: “I find working in sales really interesting and I enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life. I also like the diversity and variety my job role offers.

“No two days are ever the same. Between visiting customers old and new and building strong relationships, administration, product trials or training and attending conferences there is always something to keep you on your toes!

“The DP team has been so welcoming and supportive and they are always willing to help wherever they can. Between everyone here at DP Medical there is a wealth of experience and knowledge, and they are all willing to share their expertise which is really refreshing. For me it is all about listening to the customer and finding a solution to help and the ethos of the company really aligns with my values which is all about putting the needs and care of patients first.

In her spare time, Cheryl-Lynn, enjoys long walks in nature with her two dogs, travelling the world, spending time with family and friends, reading a good book and keeping active playing hockey and swimming.
