DP Medical celebrates a summer on the road

It’s been a busy few months here at DP Medical. Aside from our exciting partnership announcement with Foresight Group recently, and the launch of our latest product – Chitogel - we’ve also been travelling across the country to showcase our range of products and services at some of the UK and Ireland’s most prestigious healthcare events and exhibitions.

In April, we were proud to exhibit at the Irish Head and Neck Society Annual Conference, which took place at Kilkenny Convention Centre, bringing together world-recognised names from a diverse span of specialities, including Otolaryngology, Dentistry, Speech and Language Therapy and more.

Later that month our team headed up to Scotland for the BSCCP’s Annual Scientific Meeting in Edinburgh, before returning to County Kerry in Ireland for the Irish Dental Association’s Annual Conference, where we showcased our longstanding services and expertise within the dentistry sector.

The dental theme continued into May, with the British Dental Association Conference and Dentistry Show taking place in Birmingham.

May also saw us attend the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Annual Scientific Meeting in Belfast, where more than 800 delegates met to undertake learning in areas such as laparoscopy and endometriosis surgery, as well as gynaecological ultrasound.

The event provided a great platform for our team to demonstrate the benefits of MediScan – DP Medical’s cutting-edge technology that provides clinicians with a safe and secure pathway for recording, storing, and encrypting patient gynaecology examinations for analysis and archiving.

It was then off to Zagreb in Croatia to support our partners XION and APrevent, who were showcasing their laryngology products at the UEP Phoniatrics / BLA Joint Meeting - an event that offered attendees the latest information about voice and swallowing disorders, diagnostics and therapy.

These products, including the groundbreaking VOIS Implant from APrevent, were then also demonstrated at the West Sussex Advanced FESS Course and the Midlands Laryngology Workshop which took place in June. We were proud to sponsor this event, that provided attendees with hands-on workshops led by a National and International Faculty.

The CEORL-HNS event in Dublin was then a real point of focus for our team, exhibiting alongside our partners at XION Medical to highlight their renowned range of endoscopy solutions to more than 3,000 attendees from 87 countries around the world.

The event, which takes place annually, provides a high-calibre scientific program as well as networking and exhibition opportunities for those working within the otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery sector.

As the summer comes to a close, we’re looking forward to continuing to showcase our range of products and services at industry events, supporting our ambitious growth plans throughout the UK and Ireland in the months and years to come.
