Meet the team: Nathan Perks
07 November 2025 Nathan Perks, our recently appointed Theatre and Imaging Territory Manager discusses his role with DP Medical, as well as his career history and what makes him tick outside of the workplace.
What does your role with DP Medical involve?
My role at DP Medical is to support hospitals and clinicians across London with our theatre and imaging portfolio. This involves working with surgeons and theatre teams to understand their needs, provide demonstrations and training, and ensure they have the right equipment in place to deliver the best possible care.
What do you like most about working at DP Medical?
The collaborative culture and the chance to make a real impact in healthcare. I enjoy building strong relationships with clinical teams and being part of a company that values innovation and customer support. DP Medical has a great work culture and the team make it a joy to be a part of.
Where are you based?
I cover hospitals and private care within the London Region. I live in Southwest London. Please provide a brief overview of your career history to date I began my career in IT, working as an apprentice salesperson while learning valuable sales skills. Although the world of tech wasn’t really for me, I then moved into medical sales with Karl Storz as a Local Product Specialist, where I gained experience across ENT, Head & Neck, and wider surgical specialities. I worked closely with consultants and theatre teams to run trials, provide training, and manage installations of capital equipment. That experience gave me a strong foundation in both the technical and commercial sides of medical sales, which I now bring into my role at DP Medical.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m a keen golfer and enjoy spending time on the course whenever I can. I enjoy travelling and following England football, even abroad when I get the chance, as well as being a very big West Bromwich Albion fan. If I’m not playing or watching sport, you can usually find me in the local pub!
And finally, tell us something not many people may know about you:
I went solo travelling around Japan, getting involved in the culture and meeting new people along the way. It was an experience that really stuck with me.
