DP celebrates a year of record growth with purpose

With 2026 on the horizon, the team at DP Medical Systems is celebrating another record-breaking year, with a clear focus on sustainable growth and purpose.

From charitable giving to surgical successes, here are just some of the highlights from the last 12 months:

B Corp accreditation submission: Thanks to the hard work of Javier Pazoz Garcia and his team throughout the year, we're pleased to say our B Corp submission has now been submitted for consideration.

Team expansion: We're ending the year with almost 20 percent more employees than we started with, proving testimony to our strategic growth as a business.

Creation of a new Theatre Division: Led by Ryan Owens, the Theatre Division is enabling us to grow our presence in operating theatres across the UK and Ireland.

New product partnerships: Spiggle & Theis, Besdata, Medency, Mediworks and Zumax have all appointed us their trusted suppliers during recent months.

Customer service excellence: We've maintained our high levels of customer satisfaction despite supplier challenges and were shortlisted for the UK Customer Experience Awards earlier this year, too.

Social Value Plan: We're busy creating a dedicated social value plan to bring together all of our charity and community work. Highlights of the last 12 months have included our recent donation to the Holy Family School for the Deaf in Dublin, our supply of essential ENT equipment to the ‘Legacy of Hope’ charity mission to Rwanda and our managing director Owen Pemberton’s Berlin Marathon fundraising for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

Launch of XION’s EndoCOMPACT Veezar and EndoPORTABLE Veezar: Two new award-winning products from our partners at XION Medical were unveiled to customers this year, offering compact and portable solutions for ENT and Speech & Language professionals, with adult and paediatric videoscopes, video otoscope and camera head accessories.

Surpassed 100 VOIS implants: APrevent's VOIS implant surpassed 100 procedures this year and was also showcased as part of Mr Yakubu Karagama's global live surgery broadcast.

Install success: Key install projects have been completed at locations including Leeds Nuffield Health, Castlebar Primary Care Centre, Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle, Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital, Nobles Hospital Isle of Man and Leeds General Infirmary

Owen Pemberton, managing director at DP Medical, said: “Despite many industry headwinds continuing, we’re pleased to be ending 2025 with another record year of revenue under our belt and many of our other company goals achieved.

“Alongside the highs however, the last few months have also been a period of reflection for the team, following the passing of our much-loved company founder Doug Pitman in September.

“Doug’s vision and leadership have been fundamental to our journey and we remain committed to honouring his legacy through our continued growth and our dedication to the values he instilled in the team.

“Our focus for 2026 will be to double-down on this vision and our purpose as a business, increasing our charity and community work alongside building on our sustainable and strategic growth across the UK and Ireland.”
